A classic and dramatic Round 1 has wrapped up, with the Las Vegas 51s outlasting the El Paso Chihuahuas to advance to the Round 2.
Las Vegas won the final game by a score of 5-4 and took the series 3-2.
"We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Las Vegas right fielder Stan Martin, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP.
Martin hit .450 with a .476 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 6 runs.

In the end, it's Oklahoma City heading off to the Round 2, after a 6-4 win at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark tonight earned the 3-2 series win.
