Howard Leads Omaha to 1-0 Win Over Memphis Thursday, September 10th , 2026 In a remarkable performance, Omaha Storm Chasers starter Dave Howard beat the Memphis Redbirds, 1-0, in an impressive 6-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Storm Chasers hurler finished with 5 strikeouts and no walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Memphis manager Garey Ingram said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
