Johnson Belts 5 Hits Friday, April 24th , 2026 No matter what the Rochester Red Wings threw at him, Dax Johnson hit it. He easily handled Red Wings pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Mud Hens triumph, 7-1, at Frontier Field. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Johnson's quip, Red Wings skipper Chris Tremie said he "would take him up on that next time."
