Wednesday, September 17th , 2025
The Cincinnati (AZL) Reds were good enough to get past the Chicago A (AZL) White Sox at Ed Smith Stadium today and secure the 2nd championship in franchise history.
"When you wear Reds on your shirt, you're good at something," Cincinnati (AZL) skipper Mark Lamm told the press.
Reds shortstop Randy Poole was named MVP of the series after he went .609 with 1 home run and 4 runs batted in.
"It feels totally incredible," Poole said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment."
The new champions capped off a great season with a 10-0 victory over the White Sox to win the Round 2 4-1.
