At the age of 22, Horace Erwin of the ACL Giants could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2026 was good enough to win the third baseman the Arizona Complex League Most Valuable Player Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .398 batting average this year, as well as a .490 on-base percentage. He played 31 games and racked up 51 hits, 8 doubles, 1 triple, 10 home runs, 18 RBIs and 39 runs scored.
