Shorebirds Move on to Round 2 Saturday, September 12th , 2026 The Delmarva Shorebirds made it look easy and are heading to the Round 2. They have ousted the West Virginia Power in a sweep, the final win coming by a 14-10 score, clinching the 3-0 series win. "Everything's clicking for us right now," said António Guzmán, who was named MVP for the series. Guzmán hit .444 with a .667 on-base percentage. He added 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Delmarva Shorebirds don't know who they will face in the next round.
