López Stretches Hit String to 30 Sunday, September 6th , 2026 Orlando López of the Hickory Crawdads has now hit safely in 30 straight games. He socked 1 hit in today's 7-3 triumph over Delmarva at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. "30 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" López said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Orlando López struck out in the 1st, hit a sac fly in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. This year, López is hitting .316 with 10 home runs and 49 RBIs in 109 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .391 with 48 walks and 60 runs scored. |
