Fermin Stops Harrisburg Cold, 5-0
Friday, April 19th , 2024
Ronny Fermin of the Reading Fightin Phils was in command from start to finish in his 5-0 shutout win over the Harrisburg Senators. The right-hander struck out 8, walked 2 and allowed 5 hits.
"I felt strong the entire game," Fermin said. "I felt like I had my good stuff. It was just one of those games when everything was working."

Flying Squirrels Take It on Chin, Lose, 10-0, to Erie

23-year-old Erie SeaWolves pitcher Josh Hamilton had a strong outing against the Richmond Flying Squirrels at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 10 in the 10-0 win and walked 3 while surrendering 7 hits.
"Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said.
