Columbus Sweeps into the Round 2 Saturday, September 12th , 2026 The Columbus Clippers outclassed the Toledo Mud Hens in all facets of the game throughout the IL Round 1. The end result was a Columbus series sweep to advance to the Round 2, capped off by a 3-2 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said second baseman Jesús Santos, who hit .455 in the series. Santos's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .455 on-base percentage and had 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 0 runs. The Columbus Clippers don't know who they will face in the next round.
