Forrest Electric in 7-0 Win Saturday, September 5th , 2026 It wasn't easy but the Rochester Red Wings made it look that way. Starter Ron Forrest shut out the Syracuse Chiefs despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Rochester Red Wings cruised to victory, 7-0. Forrest allowed only 1 hit and rang up 11 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."
