Injury Update for Syracuse, Barajas Friday, September 4th , 2026 In a news release, the Syracuse Chiefs announced that catcher Cisco Barajas would miss the rest of the season due to a broken kneecap. Barajas sustained the injury on 09/01/2026. He "will be sorely missed," said his manager. Barajas is hitting .209 this year with 7 home runs and 34 RBIs.
