Red-Hot Espinoza Scorches Chiefs Friday, July 10th , 2026 It was a parade of hits for Jim Espinoza of the Rochester Red Wings at NBT Bank Stadium. Connecting with regularity, Espinoza finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but the Chiefs rose to the occasion and rained on his parade by winning the game, 10-6. "Espinoza was really good, we were just a little better," said Chiefs manager Dave Anderson in the postgame interview. "It's all right with me if he gets 5 hits every game against us, as long as we win." Jim Espinoza doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
