Behind the hitting of Rudy Lamb, the Helena Brewers stopped the Great Falls Voyagers, 2-0. Lamb threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball for the Brewers. Helena pitcher Jerry Anderson earned the win, hiking his record to 3-3. Erik Jerningham suffered the loss. Artie Hubbard nailed down his 5th save.

Juan Vargo drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for Helena. The 18-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Erik Jerningham. It was his 10th walk of the season.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Helena manager Daric Barton.
