The Lehigh Valley IronPigs knocked off the Pawtucket Red Sox, 6-5, in International League action at Coca-Cola Park. Lehigh Valley pitcher and Valencia, Venezuela, native Bartholomeu Monserrate had an outstanding performance. Lehigh Valley reliever Yerry De Los Santos picked up the win, while Jim Jones took the loss for Pawtucket. Miguel Angel Martínez earned the save, his 35th in 43 tries.

Edwin Little, who is tied for 3rd in the IL in RBI with 69, chipped in a run-scoring single for Lehigh Valley in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
