IronPigs Outdo Bisons in Extra Innings
|
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs picked up a win at Coca-Cola Field, knocking off the Buffalo Bisons, 2-0. Starting pitcher Brad Lewandoski played a key role in the triumph. The loss makes Buffalo 76-62.
Though he did not get the decision, Lewandoski did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 9 innings, until Lehigh Valley eventually rallied past the Bisons.
"Every play was important. Every out was important," said IronPigs manager Mel Pritchard.
