Syracuse and Scranton WB took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

In the 5-2 Syracuse win over Scranton WB, the impact of Mike McDermott was substantial. McDermott was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Thom Stevens earned the save, his 17th in 20 tries.

Ken Ochoa chipped in for Syracuse, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning. For the game, the catcher went 1-4 with a double.
