Pawtucket got a strong outing from Ryoma Endo as the Red Sox defeated the Syracuse Chiefs, 4-1, at McCoy Stadium. Pawtucket pitcher Yohander Quintana got the win, upping his record to 4-5. José Vargas got the loss. Pawtucket has rattled off 8 straight wins.

Ed Mann had a productive trip to the plate with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a sacrifice fly, helping Pawtucket to the win.
