The Syracuse Chiefs rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Indianapolis Arrows at Victory Field today. Leading the way to victory was starter Mike Adkins, who shackled the Indianapolis Arrows and held them scoreless on a 1-hitter.

"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Adkins said in his postgame press conference.

This season Adkins has compiled a 11-7 mark, 2.33 ERA and made 22 starts.
