The Buffalo Bisons did just enough to secure a victory over the Norfolk Tides, 3-2, in 10 innings at Coca-Cola Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Pancho Maldonado. With the win, Buffalo raised its record to 70-57.

The Bisons got a clutch hit from catcher Erick Castillo. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Bisons.

"It took some doing, but we got what we came for," said Bisons manager Drew Saylor.
