The Norfolk Tides picked up a win at Harbor Park, knocking off the Buffalo Bisons, 6-4. Starting pitcher Emmanuel Clase played a key role in the triumph. In 7 innings, Clase surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 4 runs. With the win over Buffalo, the Tides improved to 67-52.

Norfolk took a 6-2 lead on Joaquín Pérez's 8th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Pérez hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Buffalo pitcher Mitch Brown visibly frustrated.
