Bulls Pull Out Late Win, 2-1

NBT Bank Stadium was the site of a true pitchers' duel.
The Durham Bulls knocked off the Syracuse Chiefs, 2-1, in International League action at NBT Bank Stadium. Durham pitcher and Addison, Illinois, native Ben Lake had an outstanding performance. The current losing streak for Syracuse has reached 4 games.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Dave Lacy? The 28-year old left fielder Lacy stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put Durham up, 2-1. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.
"You have to win 1-0, 3-2, 2-1 games if you want to get to where you want to go," said Bulls manager Ron Anderson.
