The Toledo Mud Hens got a stellar effort from pitcher Tim Woods, helping Toledo score a win over the visiting Rochester Red Wings, 2-0. Dylan Nash closed out the game, earning his 2nd save. Early on, the Mud Hens, at 15-6, have played an impressive brand of baseball.

Austin Hedges drove in one run for Toledo. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, Hedges had a clutch at-bat. Facing Rochester hurler José Jaramillo, he grounded out, driving in 1 run to give the Mud Hens a 1-0 lead.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Hedges told the Toledo Herald.
