The Durham Bulls and Buffalo Bisons provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Buffalo Bisons earned a win at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, knocking off the Durham Bulls, 8-7. On the bump for Buffalo was right-hander Eric Kennedy. He had a starring role in the triumph. With the win, Buffalo upped its record to 59-48.

Shoba Morse delivered a big hit for Buffalo. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bisons ahead, 7-4. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Buffalo manager Drew Saylor.
