The Pawtucket Red Sox cut down the Indianapolis Arrows by the score of 7-4, with the largest share of the credit going to shortstop Luis Gallardo. Gallardo was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Red Sox. Sam Bell picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-5. Antonio Senzatela suffered the loss. Jeff Moore earned the save, his 19th in 22 tries.

Gallardo had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a full count fastball from Adbert Alzolay, he banged a 2-run double to left-center, giving the Red Sox a 6-4 lead. It was the 15th double of the year for Gallardo.

"I had some good swings out there," said Gallardo.

The win hiked the Pawtucket record to 59-46.
