Victory Takes IronPigs to 60-44
Spirited fans greeted the Columbus Clippers for their clash with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs licked the Columbus Clippers, 8-2. Willie Holland deserved a big chunk of the credit. The left fielder was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times for the IronPigs. With the win, Lehigh Valley raised its record to 60-44.

Lehigh Valley won the game in part because of Edwin Little. The third baseman ripped a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the IronPigs ahead, 2-0. For the game, Little had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We were firing on all cylinders," said IronPigs manager Mel Pritchard.
