At Frontier Field, the Rochester Red Wings and Norfolk Tides were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Norfolk Tides pitcher Dan Thompson was in top form, leading his team past the Rochester Red Wings, 4-1. The Tides go to 41-61 with the win.

Norfolk starter Dan Thompson pitched like a boss. The 6-foot-6 right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 7.2 innings.

"We have a lot of confidence in Dan," said Norfolk manager Charlie Poe.
