Chiefs Suffer 9-2 Home Defeat
Charlotte right-hander Monte Young pitched his team to victory over the Syracuse Chiefs at NBT Bank Stadium. The final score was 9-2. Young, now 6-7, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. Today's win puts Charlotte at 48-52, while Syracuse falls to 48-52.
