Bats Absorb 3-1 Home Loss
|
The Rochester Red Wings earned a close win over the Louisville Bats, thanks in part to Adrián Cruz. The Rochester right-hander, who is tied for 10th in the IL in holds with 5, played a key role in the 3-1 victory. Cruz got the win, improving to 4-2. He gave up 2 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. The win has Rochester at 40-60.
Rochester used the hitting of Sancho Montés to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Red Wings on top, 3-1. For the game, Montés had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
