The Toledo Mud Hens went down to defeat to Pierce Johnson and his Buffalo teammates. The final score was 2-1, in favor of the Bisons. The Bisons improved their record to 47-52 with the win over Toledo.

Buffalo took a 2-1 lead on Sancho Marín's 15th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Marín hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Toledo pitcher Shawn Major visibly frustrated.

Buffalo manager Mark Budzinski called it "a good, solid win."
