Red Sox Stumble, Losing to Clippers, 4-2

The Columbus Clippers picked up a win at Huntington Park, topping the Pawtucket Red Sox, 4-2. On the mound for Columbus was right-hander Mauro Salazar. He played a principal role in the triumph. Columbus is now 60-38, Pawtucket 45-53.
Hugues Bertolucci hit a 3-run home run off Juan Aguilar in the bottom of the first, which put the Clippers ahead, 3-0. In addition to the homer, Bertolucci had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
"I think every team will tell you that the pitching sets the tone, especially the starters," said Columbus skipper Carlos Garcia.
