Bisons Rebuff Firebirds, 4-2
|
Starting pitcher Eric Kennedy was a major factor in the 4-2 Buffalo Bisons triumph over the Gwinnett Firebirds. The win puts Buffalo at 52-45 this season.
The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the sixth inning, but Kennedy was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Gwinnett trailing 3-2, Kennedy retired Manol Tesch, who struck out.
