The Scranton WB RailRiders defeated the Pawtucket Red Sox, 6-4, in International League action at PNC Field. D.J. Peterson pulled his weight. The 4-year veteran went 3-4 with 3 singles. Randy Wise notched his 8th save in 8 chances. After today's action, Scranton WB sits at 39-55, while Pawtucket falls to 53-41.

Scranton WB center fielder Ira Mullins contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a changeup to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 72nd hit of the season and put the RailRiders ahead, 3-0.
