The Buffalo Bisons earned a win at Frontier Field, knocking off the Rochester Red Wings, 4-2. On the bump for Buffalo was right-hander Eric Kennedy. He had a starring role in the triumph. The win elevated the Bisons to 50-43.

Buffalo used the timely hitting of Rony Cabrera to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bisons on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Cabrera attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
