Good production from second baseman Arturo Franco helped the Durham Bulls topple the Toledo Mud Hens, 10-5. Franco went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs for the Bulls. After today's action, Durham sits at 30-48; Toledo slips to 37-41.

Juan Jose Díaz drove in one run for Durham. The 28-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Josh Hamilton. It was his 8th RBI of the season.
