The Indianapolis Arrows and Toledo Mud Hens played an entertaining game for Fifth Third Field patrons.

The Indianapolis Arrows locked up a win at Fifth Third Field, knocking off the Toledo Mud Hens, 4-3. On the mound for Indianapolis was left-hander Ben Brown. He played a major role in the triumph. Brown, now 9-4, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 9, walking 5, and allowing 2 runs. Picking up the save was Jerry Jones. He's now 13 for 16 in save chances.

Indianapolis used a well-timed hit by Jorge Tavárez to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Arrows ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"Ben gets on the mound and he competes and that's what you want," said Indianapolis manager Walt Wilhelms.

Indianapolis is now 36-39, while Toledo is 36-39.
