RailRiders Get Clutch Win Versus Columbus
For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

The Scranton WB RailRiders defeated the Columbus Clippers, 9-8, in part because of left fielder Joe Wallace. Wallace was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the RailRiders. Billy Bell, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-1. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 1 innings.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. With Scranton WB trailing 2-1, Wallace hit a fastball from Steve Mossman for a 3-run home run. With one swing, the RailRiders had a walk-off win.
