Scranton WB and Pawtucket put this game in the books despite some rain.

The Scranton WB RailRiders did just enough to sneak past the Pawtucket Red Sox, 4-3, at McCoy Stadium. Scranton WB second baseman Cristhian Adames, in particular, had a standout performance. Nick B. Green picked up the win, lifting his record to 2-0 on the season. He struck out 2 and walked 2 in 8.1 innings, while yielding 3 runs. Shawn Harris closed it out for Scranton WB, earning his 1st save.

With Scranton WB leading 3-2 in the top of the seventh, Adames hit a run-scoring single off Pawtucket hurler Sam Robbins. It was the 10th hit of the season for Adames and put his team ahead, 4-2.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Adames said.

The loss lowers the Pawtucket record to 4-4.
