Clippers Grind Out 2-1 Win
The Indianapolis Arrows inaugurated their 2026 season with a tough 2-1 loss to the Columbus Clippers at Victory Field. Starting Pitcher Ron Reinert had perhaps the best performance for Columbus.

Jesús Santos had a direct impact on the outcome. Santos contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fifth inning to put Columbus up, 2-1.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Columbus manager Carlos Garcia said.
