Bernier Tosses 1-0 Shutout Against Syracuse
|
Eric Bernier was in a mood to talk following the Scranton WB RailRiders contest against the Syracuse Chiefs, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Chiefs, 1-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Bernier said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Syracuse on a 4-hitter, allowing 2 walks and racking up 4 strikeouts.
