The Indianapolis Arrows beat the Charlotte Knights, 6-0, at Victory Field. Starting pitcher Ben Brown was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. With the win, the Arrows hiked their record to 35-31.

Jorge Tavárez had a big bases-clearing double for the Arrows in the bottom of the eighth inning. With Indianapolis leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from Ron Lyons, the 6th overall pick in the 2022 draft, and swatted a double to right. It was his 11th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Arrows ahead, 6-0.

"I was trying to do what I do, go out there and compete," said Brown.
