Brown Shuts Out Lehigh Valley, 4-0
|
Mitch Brown had an impressive outing at Coca-Cola Field, hurling the Buffalo Bisons to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Lehigh Valley skipper Mel Pritchard said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
On the day, the right-handed Brown yielded 3 hits and tallied 15 strikeouts with 1 walk.
