The Scranton WB RailRiders managed to get by the Pawtucket Red Sox, 5-4, at McCoy Stadium. Scranton WB pitcher Randy Wise set himself apart with his performance. The loss makes Pawtucket 27-30.

The RailRiders benefited from a costly error in the top of the fifth. With Ira Mullins at bat and Scranton WB leading 3-2, the Pawtucket miscue allowed Scranton WB to plate 1 and take the lead, 4-2.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Wise told the Scranton WB Today.
