The Norfolk Tides and Durham Bulls completed their game despite the rain.
Norfolk Tides starter Dan Thompson pitched his team past the Durham Bulls, 7-2. Thompson yielded 2 runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 10. His record improves to 3-5.
