Bisons Send Indianapolis Home with 7-2 Loss
|
Buffalo pitcher José Valenzuela did his part in helping his team defeat the Indianapolis Arrows, 7-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Valenzuela picked up the win for Buffalo, going 8.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 10 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. Indianapolis has now lost 6 in a row.
It could have been a different outcome for Buffalo, had it not been for Dan Prince, the 24-year old right fielder . Prince contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Buffalo up, 2-0.
"We took home the win," said Prince. "What's not to like?"
