Starting pitcher T.J. Adams was a major factor in the 3-2 Charlotte Knights triumph over the Gwinnett Firebirds. Adams picked up the win for Charlotte, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 7-1. With the win, the Knights improved to 16-26.
