Multi-HR Day for Austin as Clippers Overpower Arrows, 8-4
|
The Columbus Clippers beat the Indianapolis Arrows at Huntington Park. The final score was 8-4 in favor of Columbus. Brett Austin led the way, going 4-for-5 for the home team. Stephen Kohlscheen got the win, improving to 1-4. He worked 6.2 innings, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. The triumph puts Columbus at 20-18 for the season.
Early in the game, Austin had a 3-run home run for Columbus. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Clippers on top, 4-3.
