Chiefs Earn Late Win
The Syracuse Chiefs overcame a good performance by Lehigh Valley first baseman Edwin Little to knock off Lehigh Valley, 5-4, in 10 innings at Coca-Cola Park. Little went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Syracuse reliever Alejandro Viloria picked up the win. Miguel Angel Martínez took the loss for Lehigh Valley. The win has Syracuse at 14-23.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Dave Drew? The 26-year old second baseman Drew stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put Syracuse up, 5-4. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.
