Hamilton goes 4-for-5 to Pull Muckdogs to .500
The Batavia Muckdogs beat the Auburn Doubledays, 9-6, at Dwyer Stadium. Ben Hamilton was 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The 20-year old catcher was a menace to Auburn all day. Danny Edwards closed the door for Batavia, picking up his 1st save of the year. Auburn falls to 1-1.

In the bottom of the first, Alfredo Rodríguez delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Batavia third baseman hit a run-scoring single, putting the Muckdogs in front, 9-6.

"This is not a one-man show," said Hamilton. "A lot of the guys stepped up."
