Shorebirds Suffer 7-5 Road Loss
The Hagerstown Suns reigned over the Delmarva Shorebirds in damp conditions.

Hagerstown right fielder Daniel Michel made his presence felt in the 7-5 Suns triumph over the Delmarva Shorebirds. Michel went 3-3 with 3 singles, while scoring 3. Jim Richmond picked up the win with 5.1 innings of work. He allowed 4 runs on 5 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 6-2.

Jorge Olvera had a big 2-run double for the Suns in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Hagerstown leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a knuckle curve from 23-year old catcher Jon Ramos and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Suns ahead, 3-0.

"I think we all put in a good day's work," said Michel.
