Shorebirds Topple BlueClaws with Late Rally
The Shorebirds grabbed a win, 4-2, at First Energy Park, overcoming a fine effort from Lakewood pitcher Chris Rivas. Rivas went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Delmarva reliever José Bustamante picked up the win, while Jim Barker took the loss for Lakewood. The win hiked the Delmarva record to 38-17.

Delmarva used the timely hitting of Dave Morris to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Shorebirds on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We want to make a habit of winning," Morris said after the game.
